Great books! I liked Princess of the Wild Swans, very cute fairy tale retelling. I have The Selection (also requested before drama) and Masque of the Red Death in to read pile.

I just reviewed The Selection on my blog yesterday despite the cloud of controversy. I literally thought of you even while I was reading it, hoping you had a copy. I’m not sure if you’re planning on reading it or not, but I encourage you to. It is made of win and awesome put together. It reads like a fairy tale and was amazing and I could write a novel-length comment on why I loved it. But I won’t because I did that just yesterday and called that my review. haha

I don’t know Unsticky, but y’all are making me curious talking about it. I must check into it right now.

Unsticky looks like kind of a whopper! Been interested in that one since I saw it crop up on so many lists at the new year. Though I think I’m most jealous of your Masque of the Red Death copy. I still haven’t read Bumped, I’ve felt kind of burnt out on dystopians, and I feel like the whole pregnancy theme seems to be really common in them lately. If I hear good things about Thumped though I may make more of an effort.

Masque of the Red Death is the only one I’ve heard of, so I’ll be looking forward to hearing about all of these :)

LOL. Well despite all the drama, I still love the spine of The Selection. So pretty.

I’m looking forward to reading Thumped. I hope you enjoy it!

Thumped!! I can’t wait for it to come out! Bumped was a great debut with an interesting concept.

Happy reading!

Such a lovely haul! I am very excited for THE SELECTION and MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH. I do love me some Edgar Allan Poe.

I recently read the first Dangerous Angels book, Weetzie Bat, for my Resources for YA class. It was very bizarre, but decent. I’m really curious to hear what you think of it.

I am very curious about Thumped. Bumped was a fun read.

Don’t know if I’m going to read The Selection anymore. My excitement has dimmed on that one.

Unsticky & Masque look great. Looking forward to your reviews!

I want to read Masque of the Red Death and I can’t wait to hear what you think of it.

Princess of the Wild Swans also looks interesting to me. I loved Juliet Marillier’s Daughter of the Forest and Zoe Marriott’s The Swan Kingdom and I’m curious to see Diane Zahler will interpret the fairy tale.

Masque of the Red Death looks so fantastic! I am dying to read that one! I still have to read Bumped ( I have it on my Nook) I heard it was great, so I am sure Thumped will be great too. Great haul. Happy reading! Here’s my IMM http://booklovingme.blogspot.com/2012/01/in-my-mailbox-12212.html

You said kerfuffle. I like that about you.

Also, I am stoked for Perception. I fell in love with Clarity (albeit reluctantly) and I am ready to solve another mystery with her and her ridic love triangle.

I, too, have Unsticky in my pile. Unsticky Book Club! I’m pretty sure that I heard about it from Angieville, as well. She rocks. But I’m excited to read it!
Masque of the Red Death, too, sounds fab. I struggle sometimes with Poe, but I’ll give any retelling a go!

I’m looking forward to pretty much all of those – Perception looks so great, I adored Clarity so much.

So, so, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna read it? I’m also seeing a lot of Masque of the Red Death in IMMs. Interested to hear what everyone has to say about that one. I want to read it more than anything.

Yay for the Masque of Red Death! I loved the cover on that one, and plus it’s the best drink EVER! I don’t remember much of that evening after they placed the pitcher down on our table. But I do remember it being hella yummy.

After the kerfluffle, I’m a little hesitant to read The Selection. Probably will though, I like the bachelor. I don’t watch it b/c I don’t have time, but I’m all about high strung bitches fighting over a gorgeous tool bag of a man.

I’ve been wanting to read Unsticky ever since I saw Chachic blog and tweet about it, but I never realized how…chunky it was. You’d best keep that novel away from The Selection’s cover, as that girl would probably give Unsticky’s spine traumatizing self-image issues.

Happy reading. =)

You have Unsticky, YAY! Can’t wait for you to be introduced to Sarra Manning’s adult novels. You can help me convince Capillya to read Unsticky after you finish reading it. :P I just pre-ordered Sarra Manning’s latest, Nine Uses for an Ex-Boyfriend, from Book Depository – I hope it doesn’t take too long to get here.
