by April (Books&Wine) on December 1, 2011

Contest is CLOSED.

The Winner is Joli at Acting Up With Books!

Hey all, when Liza at WhoRuBlog asked me to host a minichallenge for her annual Holiday Readathon, I totally COULD NOT say no, because I love readathons and I love challenges.

December Readathon

Holiday Readathon

Here is your mission should you accept it:

Create a 5 song playlist pertaining to a book you are reading for the readathon. You can do this in a post just leave me a link in the comments, or just leave me your playlist in the comments.

I’m doing this for my own selfish reasons — to find NEW music. HOWEVER, I will reward you for your efforts. One entrant will be randomly selected to win a prize pack of three 2012 ARCs!

The Prize:

Prizes

Prize!

1 ARC of Black Boy, White School by Brian F. Walker

1 ARC of Lovetorn by Kavita Daswani

1 ARC of Forbidden by Syrie James and Ryan M. James

The Terms:

This contest is open internationally, because tis the season to GIVE! I will draw a winner December 5th using random.org from the comments.

Good luck!

Thanks. This is a cool idea.
I’m reading That Old Cape Music. My “fun and eclectic” playlist would be:
Dreams Go By, Harry Chapin, Lucky (Glee version), Someday, John Legend, King of the Earth, John Ondrasik, Castles Made of Sand, Red Hot Chili Peppers

I’m SO BAD at coming up with music to match books, but I’ll give it my best try.

The Ghost and the Goth by Stacey Kade

Haven’t Had Enough by Marianas Trench
Just the Girl by Click 5
Happy Phantom by Tori Amos
Little Ghost by White Stripes
You Wouldn’t Like Me by Tegan and Sara

Admittedly, I don’t even like all of these songs lol, but I thought the lyrics fit the book :P Thanks for the fun challenge and giveaway :)
