That is funny how your dog ate the book. At least it still looks readable! lol

Poor ARC, but at least it was only the cover!
I LOVE the Fever series. It’s so great and there’s lots of sexy times! I hope you love them.

SO TRUE. book recs from real people are usually the worst.
and for the love, why in the world don’t publishers make it more obvious what books are in a series and what number they are in a series? life would be so much easier.

Oh your poor book, haha. I would have been SO PISSED if Daisy chewed one of mine. Thankfully she hasn’t (yet) but I’m sure there will come a day… eeeek!

Haha, my dog would totally do that if she could get ahold of a book. She loves shredding paper! Great IMM this week! Here is mine: Pawing Through Books

Oh no! My dog ate my copy of Hard Times by Dickens but luckily it wasn’t a new book. At least your book is still readable. :)

Secret & Ransom are two of the Garwoods I’ve read. I liked them both! They’re companions aren’t they? I think Secret was my favorite of the two.

Also…hell yes Red Skies! Now the pressure is on, you better like Locke Lamora as much as I think you will :)

Hahahaha. I had to CONSTANTLY be vigilant with my ratties, because books were apparently very tasty. And clothes. Constant mantra was ” We do not eat fiction! Or fashion!”
I agree with your friend, Darkfever is awesome. You’ll like it.

I love rec’s from family and friends – although unfortunately I’m yet to have a IRL friend who reads anywhere near as much as I do *lol*
Too funny about your dog; at least he only got the cover!

Oh I recall enjoying Jude Deveraux during my university years (which was like … quite a number of years back, hahahaa). I am sure you’d enjoy your loot for the week.

I’m so glad my dog does not have an appetite for books.
Great books this week! Looks like you are doing very well at all of these Borders sales.

I think that I might kill my animals if they ever thought it was okay to eat my books.
Well, not kill them, but get very angry, like the time my cat thought it was okay to hide my Nook charging chord under my bed and I couldn’t find it for 3 days. That was awesome.
Anyway, awesome mailbox! Well, more like awesome shopping :]

the lion’s lady & the secret by julie garwood are fantastic, but ransom blech. actually, all of her historical romances are great but anything recent just makes me sad and yearn for the past when her books made me happy.

ha, that was dramatic but it got the point across.

I just picked up the first four books in the Fever series last night along with some other romance novels. Hope you enjoy Darkfever and the rest of your books. If you ever need historical romance recommendations let me know. There are so many great authors out there. :-)
