Are you from NY? Do you live near NY? WELL, if you are AND a fan of YA, you have got to look into going to Oblong Books’ Hudson Valley YA Society events. Seriously, these events are super awesome.
I went to my first event a few months ago. It was a launch party for Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly and had such a great time.
Anyways, the drive to Oblong Books is just over two hours for me, yet well worth the mileage. On Sunday, February 27th from 4-5:30 p.m. E. Lockhart will be doing a signing. Yes, THE E. LOCKHART. You better believe I’m packing up my car, grabbing my friend and making the trek.
I plan on buying 2 sets of the books currently out by Lockhart, one for me, and one to potentially give away, either as presents or on the blog.
RIGHT so if you are awesome and in NY, definitely go to the E. Lockhart signing, oh and slight bonus, I’ll be there and I <3 meeting other bloggers. Plus we can all fangirl over how awesome YA authors are, and buy lots of books and support an indie bookstore that does cool stuff like have MONTHLY YA author events.

I just saw E Lockhart yesterday! She was in NYC, doing a reading with a few other authors! (I don’t own anything by her, but I did get a book signed by one of the others!)
I am in New York but not the right bit of New York. I apparently missed her when she was in NYC — argh! But I’m sure she’ll come back another time.
