Second Hour Completed!

by April (Books&Wine) on October 24, 2009

If you are just tuning in, it’s the Dewey 24 Hour Read A Thon!

I was a featured reader for the technical 3rd hour (really my second hour)

I have finished by second book, Bunnicula by James Howe!

Some Highlights:
When they try to steak Bunnicula
Chester being a reader
Harold’s love of chocolate

Also, I think Bunnicula as a vamp is way cooler than Edward Cullen.

Next up: Coraline by Neil Gaiman

OMG! Bunnicula was a FAVORITE of mine when I was a kid. I might have to see if they have that for Kindle b/c that may need to be reread today!

Awesome! Keep reading!!

Traditional read-a-thon blessing:

May the bookshelf be there to greet you.
May all the books appeal.
May the fridge be full of tasty snacks;
the words fall soft upon your eyes and until the read-a-thon ends,
may you always hold a book in the palm of your hand.

Good luck today!

Have a wonderful Day; enjoy your books, and take time to rest as well. It is pouring here so it's the perfect day to be in the house reading and relaxing!

BUNNICULA was huge at my elementary school. I read the whole series in grade two or grade three. And I'm with you on preferring Bunnicula to Edward Cullen. :)

Congrats on finishing your second book! And being a reader of the hour. :) That cover is kind of creeping me out, lol.
